Activists have targeted President Trump’s Turnberry golf resort with vandalism, protesting his plan to move Palestinians from Gaza.
In Scotland, pro-Palestinian activists vandalized Donald Trump’s Turnberry golf resort to protest his proposal to relocate Palestinians from Gaza and convert the area into a tourist hotspot.
Palestine Action, the group claiming responsibility, stated on Saturday that their actions were “in response to the American administration’s plans and threats to destroy, ethnically cleanse, and ‘take over’ the Palestinian Gaza Strip.”
Videos released by the activists show the words “GAZA IS NOT FOR SALE” spray-painted in large white letters on the greens, along with several dug-up holes.
The group posted on X, “Whilst Trump attempts to treat Gaza as his property, he should know his own property is within reach.”

Another post featured images of slogans like “Free Gaza” painted in red on the clubhouse. The group also stated the golf course was completely closed after their actions.
A Trump Turnberry representative called the incident a “childish, criminal act” and asserted that operations would not be affected.
Scottish police have confirmed they are investigating.
Trump suggested relocating Gaza’s population and redeveloping the area in February. His plan to turn the enclave into a luxury tourist destination, dubbed the “Riviera of the Middle East,” involves moving over 2 million Palestinians to neighboring Arab countries. He previously shared an AI-generated video promoting “Trump Gaza,” which showed a resort featuring himself, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and tech billionaire Elon Musk.
Palestinian leaders widely condemned the proposal. Arab nations cautioned it would “put oil on the fire in the region.”
Gaza has experienced widespread destruction following the Israeli military operation that began after the Hamas attack on October 7, in which roughly 1,200 Israelis were killed and 250 were taken hostage. Since then, more than 48,000 Palestinians, mainly civilians, have been killed, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. Approximately 70% of the buildings in northern Gaza have been damaged or destroyed, making large areas uninhabitable.
