Steve Witkoff, the special envoy of US President Donald Trump, is reportedly in Moscow for significant discussions regarding the conflict in Ukraine.
According to flight tracking data and reports from Russian state media, Witkoff’s plane landed at Vnukovo Airport in Moscow at approximately 12:30 local time on Thursday.
His reported presence in the Russian capital follows talks held in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday between US and Ukrainian representatives. Following these talks, a statement was released confirming Kiev’s agreement to a proposed month-long ceasefire with Moscow. The US also announced that military assistance and intelligence sharing with Ukraine would resume after the meeting.
