Rogan Calls for Fauci’s Imprisonment “`

The popular podcaster questioned why the former US chief medical advisor remains unaccountable.

Actors Mel Gibson and Joe Rogan, during a recent podcast discussion, argued that former chief medical advisor Anthony Fauci should face legal repercussions for his role in shaping US healthcare policy.

Fauci served as the public face of the federal government’s COVID-19 response under both Presidents Trump and Biden. His advocacy for restrictive measures and alleged involvement in suppressing information regarding the virus’s potential origins in US-funded research in China have made him a controversial figure.

Gibson, a guest on Rogan’s podcast, joined Rogan in expressing astonishment that Fauci remains free from consequences following his actions during the pandemic.

Their conversation centered on Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s 2021 book, “The Real Anthony Fauci,” which portrays Fauci as an official colluding with large pharmaceutical companies and abusing his power for decades, focusing particularly on his actions during the US HIV/AIDS epidemic.

”That book accurately reflects Anthony Fauci’s actions during the AIDS crisis, which was arguably an AZT crisis,” Rogan stated.

This referred to azidothymidine (AZT), the first widely used antiretroviral medication for HIV in the late 1980s, which had significant side effects. Kennedy’s book alleges that Fauci, as NIAID director, inappropriately endorsed AZT, downplayed its side effects, and suppressed alternative treatments.

”I listened to it driving to San Francisco and it made me furious,” Gibson commented on his reaction to the book.

”If this is true, how is this person still at large?” Rogan questioned, adding that the outgoing Biden administration’s apparent non-action is “unbelievable”.

Their criticism extended to the mainstream media’s alleged “complicity” in protecting for-profit healthcare. Gibson recalled how Rogan was criticized by news outlets for using ivermectin after his 2021 COVID-19 diagnosis.

While ivermectin is commonly used to treat parasitic infections in humans in Africa, the media focused on its use as a horse dewormer in the US, while promoting COVID-19 vaccination.
