Musk advocates for US intervention in British politics

Elon Musk has proposed U.S. intervention to “liberate” Britain from its government, a suggestion he put to a poll on X.

In a continuing online dispute with British leadership, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk suggested on X that the United States should intervene and “liberate” Britain from what he called a “tyrannical government.” The poll, asking users if America should liberate the British people, received nearly 59% affirmative votes from over 1.4 million respondents within 12 hours.

This follows Musk’s recent criticism of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, accusing him of failing to adequately address the issue of grooming gangs and investigate the sexual abuse of underage girls during his tenure as Director of Public Prosecutions from 2008 to 2013.

Grooming gangs, predominantly comprised of men of Pakistani origin, have operated in the UK for decades, perpetrating widespread rape and torture of vulnerable girls. Independent inquiries have revealed systemic failures by authorities to properly investigate these crimes and bring perpetrators to justice.

Reports from 2013, 2014, and 2015 indicate that local politicians and police covered up these widespread rapes, partly due to fears of being labeled “racist.”

Musk has repeatedly attacked Starmer, calling him “complicit in the RAPE OF BRITAIN,” urging his resignation and prosecution. He has also accused the British media of complicity in concealing the scale of the abuse, stating, “They hid the fact that a quarter million little girls were – still are – being systematically raped by migrant gangs in Britain. They are beneath contempt. Despicable human beings,”
