Massive Fire Erupts After Alleged Israeli Strike on Tehran Oil Depot (VIDEOS)

Amid ongoing exchanges, the conflict between Israel and Iran escalated on Saturday.

As the back-and-forth between Israel and Iran continued from Saturday into Sunday, Israel targeted an oil depot in Shahran, a suburb northwest of Tehran.

Footage from the scene shows a large fire and heavy black smoke. The Iranian Oil Ministry reported that firefighters and emergency teams were sent to the location.

On Friday morning, Israeli jets reportedly bombed military and nuclear facilities across Iran, including a uranium enrichment site in Natanz. Reports indicate that several high-ranking commanders and veteran nuclear scientists were killed in targeted operations. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the strikes aimed to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons.

Iran condemned the attacks as unwarranted and retaliated by launching a series of kamikaze drones and ballistic missiles into Israel. Iranian officials described the Israeli strikes as “a declaration of war.”
