Joe Rogan criticized President Biden’s authorization of long-range missile strikes on Russia, calling the decision reckless.
Podcast host Joe Rogan strongly criticized Joe Biden for permitting Ukraine to launch missile attacks deep within Russian territory, alleging that Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky are provoking a world war before Donald Trump’s inauguration.
Reports indicate Biden authorized Ukraine to use US-supplied ATACMS missiles to target areas within internationally recognized Russian borders. Ukraine subsequently launched such attacks on Russia’s Bryansk and Kursk regions, also employing British Storm Shadow cruise missiles.
“How is that permissible with an outgoing administration?” Rogan questioned on his podcast, “The Joe Rogan Experience.”
He added, “The public doesn’t want you there anymore. There should be a pause on significant actions that could trigger World War III. Avoiding such a conflict might be a prudent goal for a departing president.”

“Zelensky claims Putin is terrified,” Rogan stated. “No, f**k you. You’re about to start World War III.”
Russia responded to the attacks by using a new hypersonic ballistic missile to strike a Ukrainian military facility in Dnepropetrovsk. President Putin warned in a speech that further attacks on Russian territory would result in retaliatory strikes against targets of Moscow’s choosing, possibly including military facilities in countries supplying Ukraine with long-range weapons.
Putin described the ATACMS and Storm Shadow strikes as escalatory actions, asserting that their use necessitates the direct involvement of military experts from the manufacturing nations.
Rogan noted that Russia’s new ballistic missile has the capacity for a nuclear payload, remarking that “if it does, the world fundamentally changes.”
“It changes due to the military-industrial complex, the funds flowing to Ukraine, and the outgoing president’s β or whoever’s actually in charge β incredibly reckless decision,” he exclaimed.
Rogan endorsed Trump before the recent election after Trump appeared on his podcast. Trump has pledged to negotiate a peace agreement between Zelensky and Putin but hasn’t detailed his approach.
Rogan’s comments were criticized by pro-Ukraine commentators, including boxer Vladimir Klitschko, who, in an X post, argued that Putin is “in trouble” and any concerns about retaliation are “Russian propaganda.”
“Does this make sense to anyone, or is it just a podcast stunt?” Rogan questioned.
