“We are also very grateful to GMA’s GTV Channel and happy to announce that “It’s Showtime” has found another home,” the Kapamilya Network said.

ABS-CBN also said that the noontime show will no longer be seen on TV5 beginning July 1, 2023 due to the “new programming movements” in Kapatid Network.

“For 14 years, “It’s Showtime” has brought joy and entertainment to our Madlang People here and abroad. We value the meaningful relationship we have built and nurtured with our audience in the noontime slot. It is for this reason that we have respectfully declined the 4:30 pm timeslot offered by TV5 for the show.

ABS-CBN also expressed its gratitude to TV5 chairman Manny Pangilinan for their support to the noontime show.

“ABS-CBN would like to extend its heartfelt appreciation to TV5 Chairman Manny Pangilinan for his support for ABS-CBN and for bringing “It’s Showtime” to a wider audience through our content partnership,” the statement reads.

Currently, “It’s Showtime” airs at 12 noon on A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and TV5.

It was in July last year when “It’s Showtime” debuted on TV5.

Now on its 13th year, “It’s Showtime” is hosted by superstar comedian Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Ogie Alcasid, Jhong Hilario, Amy Perez, Jugs Jugueta, Teddy Corpuz, Ryan Bang, Jackie Gonzaga, and others.

The transfer of “It’s Showtime” happens after TV5 sealed an agreement with iconic trio Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon, main hosts of “Eat Bulaga.” The three bid farewell from GMA-7 blocktimer TAPE Inc. last May 31.

“Eat Bulaga” debuted on July 30, 1979.

TV5 also officially announced that the trio of original “Eat Bulaga” will be moving to the Kapatid network.
