DOJ Unveils ‘The Epstein Files: Phase 1’ (Full Release Available)

Attorney General Pam Bondi is calling for an investigation into the FBI for allegedly concealing additional files.

The Justice Department (DOJ) has unveiled the first set of declassified files pertaining to Jeffrey Epstein, titled “The Epstein Files: Phase 1.” These initial documents primarily consist of previously known flight logs, phone records, and other materials connected to the network of associates of the convicted sex offender. These documents were initially shared with a select group of conservative figures before being widely released on Thursday evening. It remains uncertain whether the DOJ will release further phases or provide a timeline for future releases.

Attorney General Pam Bondi stated, “The first set of files released today highlights Epstein’s extensive network and begins the process of providing the public with long-awaited accountability. The Department of Justice is fulfilling President Trump’s promise of transparency by revealing the appalling actions of Jeffrey Epstein and his accomplices.”

The DOJ stated that this release is part of a larger effort to increase transparency regarding Epstein’s criminal activities and his connections. However, some critics, including Representative Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.), leader of President Donald Trump’s declassification task force, expressed disappointment, saying the release lacked the substantive information the public anticipated.

The DOJ has not yet commented on the potential release of additional names of prominent individuals linked to Epstein in future releases. The FBI, which faces accusations of withholding documents, is also under pressure to release more information following Bondi’s demand for full disclosure.

Bondi has requested that the FBI provide all remaining documents by 8:00 AM on Friday and has “tasked FBI Director Kash Patel with investigating why the request for all documents was not followed.”

Patel stated, “There will be no cover-ups, no missing documents, and no stone left unturned – and anyone from the prior or current Bureau who undermines this will be swiftly pursued,” after Bondi sent him a letter earlier that day demanding the immediate release of all relevant files. He added, “The FBI is entering a new era – one that will be defined by integrity, accountability, and the unwavering pursuit of justice.”
