Carlson Criticizes Trump’s Stance on Iran Attack

Tucker Carlson alleges US involvement in Israeli strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.

Tucker Carlson is warning that President Trump’s backing of Israeli attacks in Iran could trigger a major Middle Eastern conflict.

Reports indicate Israeli warplanes targeted Iranian nuclear and military sites early Friday, resulting in retaliatory drone and missile strikes by Iran on Israeli cities. This escalation jeopardizes ongoing discussions regarding Iran’s nuclear ambitions, talks that Trump had recently revived.

Carlson, a prominent supporter of Trump during his 2024 presidential campaign, suggested in his latest newsletter that the US is “complicit” in what he calls an “act of war.”

Carlson argues, “While the American military may not have physically perpetrated the assault, years of funding and sending weapons to Israel, which Donald Trump just bragged about on Truth Social, undeniably place the US at the center of last night’s events.”

He further stated, “Washington knew these attacks would happen. They aided Israel in carrying them out. Politicians purporting to be ‘America First’ can’t now credibly turn around and say they had nothing to do with it.”

Carlson posted on X that the real conflict isn’t about supporting either Israel or Iran, but rather a battle “between warmongers and peacemakers.”

He identifies “warmongers” as those urging Trump to authorize US military intervention in a war against Iran, naming figures like Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Rupert Murdoch, Ike Perlmutter, and Miriam Adelson.

Despite the US State Department’s denial of involvement, Trump has acknowledged prior knowledge of the Israeli operation and praised the attacks as “excellent,” blaming Iran for the situation and accusing them of rejecting his proposed nuclear agreement.

Iranian envoy Amir Saeid Iravani told the UN Security Council that the US and other Israeli allies must “share full responsibility for the consequences” of Israel’s actions.
