Reports indicate that authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina have removed Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik from his position.
Local media sources state that Bosnia and Herzegovina’s election officials have invalidated the mandate of Milorad Dodik, the President of Republika Srpska. This region is a self-governing, majority-Serb area within Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Dnevni Avaz reports that the Central Election Commission members unanimously reached the decision, although Dodik can appeal. If the deadline passes without an appeal, elections are anticipated to be held within three months.
