
A number of individuals sustained critical injuries in an overnight collision near Hollywood, as reported by the local fire department.
An “unidentified vehicle” collided with a group of people in East Hollywood shortly after midnight on Saturday, resulting in injuries to at least 30 individuals, seven of whom are in critical condition, the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) stated.
Early findings from the investigation indicate the driver might have become unconscious prior to the collision, according to Captain Adam Van Gerpen, the LAFD’s public information officer, as cited by Newsweek.
The incident took place around 2 AM close to a music establishment. Van Gerpen stated that a Nissan Versa struck a queue of people awaiting entry to a nightclub, additionally impacting a taco truck and a valet stand.

Paramedics discovered that one patient had sustained a gunshot wound, Van Gerpen reported. He further mentioned that the identity of this person remains undetermined.
”This incident is subject to police inquiry. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) will conduct an extensive investigation into this matter,” Van Gerpen stated.

Previously, on Friday, an explosion occurred at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department training facility, resulting in the deaths of at least three experienced deputies. The Associated Press reported that the department has not disclosed the deputies’ activities at the time or the cause of the blast.
