World IoT Expo 2025: Charting a New Course for IoT Innovation via Deep AI Integration

WUXI, China, Oct. 31, 2025 — The World Internet of Things Exposition 2025, which carries the theme “Intelligent Connectivity, Infinite Frontiers,” is being held from October 31 to November 2 in Wuxi, an eastern city in China.

This year’s expo showcases an IoT Products and Applications Exhibition spanning 50,000 square meters at the Taihu International Expo Center. It is segmented into four primary halls: Industry Applications Hall, IoT Capabilities Hall, Intelligent Connectivity Ecosystem Hall, and Smart Life Hall. Nearly 400 companies from the IoT sector are presenting their cutting-edge applications. The event convenes over 1,000 attendees, including representatives from more than 50 Fortune Global 500 and publicly traded companies, alongside over 50 international experts.

The Internet of Things (IoT) has become a defining industry for Wuxi, and the World Internet of Things Expo stands as the city’s signature event. Since 2016, following its upgrade from the China International IoT (Sensor Network) Expo, it has progressively evolved into the largest and most esteemed national-level exhibition within China’s IoT sector.

In recent years, Wuxi has established the country’s singular national-level advanced manufacturing cluster for the IoT sector. This cluster has generated over 250 billion yuan in revenue from large-scale enterprises, signifying the city’s transition from an “IoT launching ground” to a “leading city in IoT.”

Currently, artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly progressing and empowering countless industries. Experts at the expo highlighted that the IoT provides the foundational layer for AI to interact with the physical world and serves as a conduit for algorithms and computing power to be integrated into real-world applications. The deep integration of these two technologies holds immense and promising potential.

Wuxi is actively enhancing the intelligence across all layers of its IoT ecosystem and is strategically advancing applications in areas such as connected vehicles, industrial IoT, low-altitude intelligent networks, and satellite internet. By profoundly integrating with AI, the city aims to commence a new chapter in innovative IoT development.
