Luvia collaborates with Open Campus to deliver verifiable credentials to Vietnamese students via an initiative supported by the Ministry of Education and Training

Luvia mobile app integrates Open Campus ID and verifiable credentials; Luvia in‑school platform supported by the Ministry of Education and Training will pilot in Hanoi schools in early 2026

HANOI, Vietnam, Feb. 02, 2026 — Luvia and Open Campus have entered into a strategic partnership to equip Vietnamese students with portable, verifiable credentials via two key projects: a personalized learning mobile application for high school and university students, and a learning management platform for educational institutions. These projects incorporate Open Campus ID and its verifiable credentials, with the goal of modernizing school administration across the country.

Luvia and Open Campus have announced a strategic partnership

Luvia’s mobile application was released on and in late November 2025. The initial focus is on students within its partner school network, which encompasses around 200,000 learners. The new Luvia app is specifically designed to make education engaging, enjoyable, and rewarding for high school and university students. It consolidates the complete Vietnamese high-school curriculum into a single location, presented through well-organized mindmaps and structured modules. Learners can study at their preferred speed with customized practice tests and on-demand resources, while the application also enhances the link between educators, schools, and families. Teachers can monitor student advancement, schools can utilize Luvia as a curriculum-aligned tool, and parents can obtain better insight into their children’s educational progress.

In early 2026, backed by the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), Luvia will trial its in‑school learning management platform in selected schools in Hanoi. The platform aims to save teachers time by automating common administrative tasks, improve the communication flow among schools, teachers, parents, and students, and equip learners with portable, verifiable credentials that validate skills for various apps, schools, and employers. By the conclusion of 2026, Luvia intends to expand its learning management platform to schools and universities throughout Vietnam, potentially reaching a total audience of more than ten million students.

By integrating seamlessly with Open Campus ID, Luvia users obtain a lifelong, portable learner passport that will be accepted by future institutions and platforms. As students show proficiency within the Luvia app and in class, they receive blockchain-verified credentials that build a trusted digital resume, intended to support job applications, grants, scholarships, international study options, and on-chain education funding.

Hailey Nguyen, Founder and CEO of Luvia, stated: “At Luvia, our priority is to assist every student in making daily progress. Combining an easy-to-use, high‑quality learning application with portable, verifiable credentials allows learners to take their accomplishments with them wherever opportunities appear.”

Jonah Lau, project lead and core contributor at Open Campus, commented: “Open Campus ID and verifiable credentials ensure student records are both portable and protect privacy. We are thrilled to provide Luvia and Vietnam’s education system with reliable, reusable evidence of learning.”

Phung Thi Ly Hang, vice director of education training at the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), remarked: “We support pilot programs that improve teaching effectiveness and enable learners to show validated progress. We anticipate evaluating the pilot results from Hanoi.”

What it enables and what’s next
Utilizing Open Campus ID and verifiable credentials, students can leverage their accomplishments outside the Luvia app for numerous practical applications:

  • Education financing: obtain discounts, offers, or funding based on validated course progress and badges
  • Digital CVs: disclose skills and completions to employers in a manner that safeguards privacy
  • University and bootcamp admissions: present authenticated records to partner programs to minimize paperwork and fraud verification
  • Employer verification: provide a consented, verifiable skills overview to employers to accelerate screening and decrease manual reviews
  • Partner perks marketplace: exchange partner benefits that demand particular verified accomplishments

Furthermore, Open Campus and Luvia are exploring partnership and collaboration possibilities with other potential partners in Vietnam, such as VietinBank, VietcomBank, and BIDV.
