Kailas FUGA expands through race partnerships and athlete community

GUANGZHOU, China, Jan. 20, 2026 — Kailas FUGA, one of the world’s leading trail running brands, announced a long-term strategic partnership with the renowned Penyagolosa Trails. By leveraging its experience in managing international races, the investment and resources from Kailas FUGA will assist this iconic Spanish race in reaching a truly global audience.
The race contributes to Kailas FUGA’s growing presence in Spain following the establishment of retail distribution in 2024. In 2023, the Kailas FUGA Team signed its first Spanish elite athlete and then signed rising stars José Ángel CANALES and Maria FUENTES (2nd place in ETC – UTMB, 2025), solidifying its reputation in the country. In 2026, the formal launch of FUGA’s sponsored community, the FUGA Mountain Club in Spain, led by Alvaro Gonzales del Salto, took place.
