The 7th China Helicopter Exposition
TIANJIN, China, Oct. 19, 2025 — The Tianjin Airport Economic Zone in north China is set to host the 7th China Helicopter Exposition from October 16 to 19.
So far, this year’s exposition has attracted nearly 400 businesses from over 30 countries and regions, setting a new record for participant numbers in the expo’s history. Importantly, all six of the world’s foremost helicopter prime manufacturers are slated to attend.
With a sprawling exhibition area of 160,000 square meters, this year’s event will host close to 200 booths arranged across ten primary categories. These encompass complete helicopters, electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing aircrafts (eVTOLs), Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), engines, airborne equipment, ground-based gear, and various supporting services.
Distinguished as the world’s only professional helicopter exhibition to feature flight demonstrations, this year’s expo is set to present a total of six flight shows. Aircraft participating in these displays will include eight CAIC Z-10 attack helicopters, two Harbin Z-20 tactical utility helicopters, and the Z-20 assault variant, which will make its inaugural public flight appearance.
Within the static ground exhibition area, 52 aircraft will be on display, 38 of which are helicopters. These include active mainstay models from the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Aviation and globally acclaimed star models. Featured aircraft will be the Z-8L wide-body transport helicopter, the KVD002 reconnaissance-and-attack integrated UAV, and international models such as the Airbus H135 and Leonardo AW139.
Furthermore, domestic civil aircraft, including AVIC’s AC312E and AC311A, will illustrate diverse application scenarios, spanning emergency rescue to medical transportation.
