(SeaPRwire) – SHANGHAI, April 01, 2026 — CHC Navigation (CHCNAV), an international leader in GNSS technology for positioning, mapping, and surveying, has introduced significant enhancements to its i93, i85, and i76 GNSS receivers, as well as the iBase professional base station. These updates are engineered to boost positioning stability, simplify field deployment, and broaden operational capabilities in challenging surveying environments.
Improved RTK performance with the CHCNAV StellaX GNSS chip
The upgraded i93, i85, and i76 receivers now feature the CHCNAV StellaX GNSS chip, which offers multi-frequency signal tracking and sophisticated anti-interference technology. This architecture is designed to provide more dependable GNSS RTK positioning and consistent data acquisition in complex terrains and areas with limited satellite visibility.
PointSky GNSS correction service for remote surveying
To decrease dependency on cellular networks and local radio links, the updated i93 and i85 models now include a standard one-year subscription to the CHCNAV PointSky service. PointSky provides GNSS corrections via satellite, allowing users to achieve 2.5 cm precision within three to five minutes. This capability facilitates surveying tasks in isolated regions such as mountains, forests, and deserts where network coverage is often restricted.
Extended radio range and streamlined iBase activation
The iBase base station now incorporates CHCNAV DistLink technology and enhanced data compression to increase radio sensitivity, supporting a range of up to 30 km for linear projects like highways and railways. Power consumption has been optimized to allow for over 13 hours of continuous use without external batteries. To simplify deployment, the iBase features a one-button startup sequence that automatically pairs with rover units, reducing the need for manual configuration in the field.
