SINGAPORE, Dec. 19, 2025 — Binance Academy and Marlin Foundation have launched a specialized curriculum aimed at providing developers with the skills to create the next wave of privacy-focused blockchain applications.
Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) represent the identical secure hardware standard used by Google to secure private AI models, Apple for Private Cloud Compute, Microsoft for confidential cloud offerings, and OpenAI for protecting AI inference. This new course makes this infrastructure more accessible by instructing Web3 developers on leveraging the same secure computing power to expand decentralized applications.
With the increasing complexity of Web3 applications, users demand the seamless experience of contemporary apps alongside the trust and transparency of blockchain. TEEs facilitate this by serving as secure hardware enclaves where confidential computations are executed safely and privately. This setup enables developers to offload intensive processing from the blockchain while maintaining verifiable correctness of the outcomes. The benefits are substantial, allowing AI tools to function without revealing personal data, shielding trades from predatory bots that capitalize on information leaks, and enabling applications to grow without facing excessive gas costs or delayed confirmations.
The curriculum is tailored for developers from both Web2 and Web3 backgrounds, illustrating how conventional backend systems can be adapted for decentralized settings. Despite TEEs being a long-established standard in major tech firms, hands-on training for blockchain developers has been scarce. This course addresses that shortfall with detailed guidance and availability of tools ready for real-world use.
Enrollees will gain expertise in constructing verifiable AI inference with Marlin’s teeML framework and creating high-performance DeFi systems that function outside onchain gas constraints. The program features hands-on exercises and culminates in a live deployment where participants develop an AI-driven job-matching application on BNB Chain. This final project showcases how TEEs empower the creation of scalable, secure decentralized applications that handle sensitive data without revealing it to servers, validators, or third parties.
“This course addresses a vital missing component in the developer toolkit,” stated Eslikumar Adiandhra, Head of Product at Marlin. “TEEs are now commonplace infrastructure on major technology platforms, but practical training for decentralized applications has lagged behind. We are addressing this with experiential learning based on the same frameworks that run actual production systems.“
The course is offered at no cost on Binance Academy and provides a joint certification from Binance Academy and Marlin after finishing. Registration is open at:
