SÃO PAULO, March 15, 2026 — The 2026 “Chinese Brands Going Global · Worldwide Tour” (South America Stop), a significant brand promotion event hosted by the Global Times, took place in São Paulo, Brazil on March 10. Under the theme “New Quality Leads, Brands Set Sail,” the gathering convened diplomats and business executives from China and Brazil to discuss sustainable development opportunities in the region.

“This event is not just a focused exhibition of Chinese brands but also a crucial chance for companies from both nations to build greater trust and pursue shared growth,” stated Zhang Xi, Deputy Consul General of the Chinese Consulate General in São Paulo.
Li Liushen, Deputy General Manager of Global Times Online (Huanqiu.com) and a representative of the event organizer, mentioned that the outlet, with its multilingual platforms reaching over 330 million users worldwide, acts as a bridge for Chinese brands aiming for genuine connections in global markets.
Li Dongcheng, Chief Representative of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Representative Office in Brazil and Secretary-General of the Brazilian Association of Chinese Companies, stressed that “Chinese brands must establish themselves in this market by developing local supply chains and gaining a deep insight into consumer behavior.” He also highlighted the upcoming fourth China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE).
The growing integration of Chinese brands into the market was demonstrated by Fenjiu, a renowned Chinese Baijiu producer. In a video speech, Yang Yaojie, Deputy General Manager of Shanxi Xinghua Village Fenjiu International Trade Co., Ltd., underscored the company’s hundred-year connection with the Americas. A launch ceremony for Fenjiu’s new product line in Brazil was held, providing guests with an engaging introduction to Chinese Baijiu culture.

Beijing Tongzhou was featured at the event via video presentations and physical exhibitions.
Admar Pereira, CEO of Brazilian company ZIRAN and an event participant, shared his expectation for more Chinese brands to enter the market, hoping they will gain a better understanding of local consumer preferences.
The “Chinese Brands Going Global · Worldwide Tour” initiative, hosted by the Global Times, organized by Huanqiu.com, co-organized by Fenjiu International, and supported by the Brazilian Association of Chinese Companies, is designed to foster “open and pragmatic” dialogue between Chinese brands and international markets.
