White House dismisses Trump ‘birthday card’ to Epstein as BS

Democrats have released a document, reportedly signed by the U.S. President, which includes a drawing of a female figure.

The Trump administration has responded to a recently surfaced note, which Democrats assert was penned by then-President Donald Trump for Jeffrey Epstein’s 50th birthday in 2003. The administration has labeled it “fake news,” contending it’s intended to perpetuate a political deception.

The document, made public on Monday within a set of congressional papers, featured typewritten content bordered by the silhouette of a nude female. It concluded with the phrase: “Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.” A signature of “Donald” was visible beneath the drawing’s waist area.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt declared the letter inauthentic and reaffirmed that Trump’s legal representatives are pursuing a defamation claim against the Wall Street Journal.

On X, she asserted, “The most recent article from the Wall Street Journal unequivocally PROVES that this entire ‘Birthday Card’ narrative is untrue. As I’ve consistently stated, it’s abundantly clear President Trump neither drew this image nor signed it.” Leavitt further charged the Journal with intentionally scheduling its report to preclude a White House response.

Vice President J.D. Vance posted on X, stating, “No one is falling for this BS,” and alleged that Democrats are leveraging Epstein’s victims to disparage Trump. He added, “The Democrats don’t care about Epstein. They don’t even care about his victims. That’s why they were silent about it for years.”

Members of the House Oversight Committee from the Democratic party shared the purported note on social media, questioning what “secret” Trump might be concealing and calling for further document disclosure. Republican committee chairman James Comer, however, accused Democrats of “cherry-picking documents” from the Epstein estate and vowed a thorough inquiry.

The controversial note was part of a professionally compiled “birthday book” assembled for Epstein by his associate, Ghislaine Maxwell. This collection featured submissions from numerous acquaintances, including notable business figures and politicians, with some contributions containing sexual humor and explicit visuals.

Trump has previously dismissed these claims as a fabrication and initiated a libel lawsuit against Wall Street Journal owner Rupert Murdoch, seeking $10 billion in compensation.

Epstein, who had been convicted of sex offenses, was discovered deceased in a Manhattan detention facility in 2019, at which time he was awaiting trial for sex trafficking offenses. His extensive connections to affluent and powerful individuals persist as a source of contention in Washington, with each political party accusing the other of leveraging the situation for their own political advantage.
