Nexif Ratch Energy Secures Investor Approval for 143MW Van Canh Wind Project, Enhancing Vietnam Portfolio

GIA LAI, Vietnam, Sept. 09, 2025 — Nexif Ratch Energy, a prominent renewable energy developer in Southeast Asia, has expanded its Vietnam project portfolio following the official award of the Investment Certificate for its 143MW Van Canh Wind Power Project. The certificate was presented during the Gia Lai Investment Conference, an event attended by senior central and provincial leaders, including Mr. Ho Quoc Dung, Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee.

NRE was selected as the developer of the project, having successfully fulfilled the Province’s requirements through a formal evaluation process that assessed its development qualifications and proposed plan.

Located within Canh Lien commune, the project is slated to feature up to 26 wind turbines. With an investment of VND 5.7 trillion (US$ 216 million), it is expected to generate approximately 392 million kWh of energy annually upon its commissioning in 2028. This endeavor showcases Nexif Ratch’s capacity to harness Vietnam’s rich renewable resources, providing sustainable energy to communities and industries.

The project forms an integral part of Vietnam’s Power Development Plan VIII (Decision No. 1682, 2024). The Investment Certificate award follows Nexif Ratch’s ongoing collaboration with provincial authorities, comprehensive wind assessments, and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding in March 2024.
