Saudi Arabia Courts Trump with McDonald’s (VIDEO)

The US president’s well-known fondness for the Big Mac has been widely reported.

As a gesture acknowledging President Donald Trump’s well-documented affection for McDonald’s, Saudi Arabia positioned a mobile McDonald’s unit outside the Royal Court in anticipation of his arrival in Riyadh.

Trump’s visit to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday marked his first major international trip since taking office. During his time in Riyadh, he participated in the signing of a “strategic economic partnership” agreement that envisions approximately $600 billion in Saudi investments across the US energy, defense, mining, and aerospace industries.

A brief video circulating on social media showed a double-decker McDonald’s trailer located near ‘Media Oasis,’ a hub established for journalists covering Trump’s visit to Riyadh.

Conservative journalist Benny Johnson, who shared the video, commented that “Saudi Arabia brought in a mobile McDonald’s for President Trump on his visit.”

Online commentators offered mixed reactions, with some calling it “a charming gesture” and “an ultimate sign of hospitality,” while others simply quipped, “I’m Lovin’ It.”

A White House source confirmed to Fox News the presence of a McDonald’s truck in Riyadh during Trump’s visit. However, there have been no reports of the President actually stopping to eat there.

Trump once stated that “the Big Macs are great. The Quarter Pounder. It is great stuff,” and his former campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, wrote in his book ‘Let Trump Be Trump’ that Trump’s typical campaign diet in 2016 consisted of “…two Big Macs, two Filet-O-Fish, and a chocolate malt.”

During his presidency, Trump famously served burgers to the Clemson Tigers, the national college football champions, during their visit to the White House. According to Jared Kushner, his son-in-law, Trump also requested McDonald’s after recovering from COVID-19 in 2020.

Last year, Trump was seen working at a fryer and serving customers at the drive-thru of a McDonald’s restaurant in Pennsylvania, a key swing state. McDonald’s later released a statement clarifying that they had not authorized the campaign event at their location, stating, “McDonald’s does not endorse candidates for elected office… We are not red or blue – we are golden,”
