MANILA, Philippines – Nicole Borromeo from Cebu is Binibining Pilipinas International 2022.

She was crowned by reigning queen Hannah Arnold of Masbate early Monday morning, August 1, at the Binibining Pilipinas 2022 finals night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Borromeo will take home Php 500,000 worth of management contract from Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc., full scholarship on character development and effective communication, 18 months free membersip from Gold’s Gym and Php 300,000 worth of beauty products and beauty treatments.
She will represent the country at the 61st edition of the Miss International pageant expected in 2023.
Meanwhile, Arnold will finally compete in the Miss International pageant on December 13 in Tokyo Dome City Hall in Japan. The pageant was canceled in 2020 and last year due to the global pandemic.
Also crowned on Monday were the following ladies, who will be competing in other international pageants:
- Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2022 – Roberta Tamondong (San Pablo, Laguna)
- Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2022 – Gabrielle Basiano (Borongan, Eastern Samar)
- Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2022 – Chelsea Fernandez (Tacloban City)

The event was hosted by Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray together with Miss Grand International Philippines 2016 Nicole Cordoves.
