New Orleans authorities confirm at least ten fatalities and numerous injuries following an SUV’s collision with a crowd celebrating New Year’s in the French Quarter.

According to WGNO, the incident occurred around 3:15 am local time on Wednesday in a tourist-heavy area known for its bars and restaurants.
