Donald Trump Jr. Mocks Zelensky Over Biden’s Withdrawal

Donald Trump Jr. continues to mock Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the election race, and has now taken a swipe at his ties to Kiev

Donald Trump Jr. has joked that Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky is now without someone to “mooch money” from after US President Joe Biden dropped out of the election campaign.

The son of the Republican candidate took to X (formerly Twitter) on Monday to post a fabricated screenshot, allegedly from Biden’s cellphone. The image shows a staggering 52 ‘missed calls’ from Zelensky, alongside several urgent ‘messages,’ including “my money still coming right,” “im scared” and “plz answer.”

The joke clearly targets the generous military and financial aid provided to Kiev by the Biden administration during the conflict with Russia, as well as Zelensky’s consistent calls for more support.

This post follows a series of sarcastic messages from Trump Jr., who has been celebrating Biden’s decision to withdraw from the race, amid criticism from fellow Democrats over the US president’s performance in the debates against Donald Trump.

Shortly after Biden announced his decision and endorsed his Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic Party’s best choice, Trump Jr. suggested on social media that the two were essentially interchangeable and that the change was ultimately meaningless.

“Kamala Harris owns the entire leftwing policy record of Joe Biden. The only difference is that she is even more liberal and less competent than Joe, which is really saying something. She was put in charge of the border and we saw the worst invasion of illegals in our history,” he asserted. These remarks echo his father’s statements, who has labeled Biden as the “worst president ever” in American history.
