BEIJING, Sept. 15, 2025 — On Sept. 11, the “China, an Opportunity · Beautiful Hebei” Hebei International Cultural Exchange Week officially commenced at Beijing’s Shougang Park, with approximately 150 Chinese and international guests in attendance. The event served to highlight Hebei’s rich cultural heritage and stunning natural landscapes through various cultural presentations and interactions.

The opening ceremony began with musical performances by the Malanhua Children’s Choir, followed by demonstrations of Taiji and Hebei Bangzi opera. International students from Hebei University showcased their dedication to Chinese culture through a performance of Sun-style Taiji.
Abbas Muhammad, a Pakistani recipient of Hebei Province’s Yanzhao Friendship Award, expressed profound admiration for Hebei’s natural and cultural attractions. He movingly declared: “Just like you, I have a deep love for China in my heart.”
The session titled “Hebei Porcelain and Wine Meet French Cuisine, A Timeless Delight That Never Fades” featured exhibits of exquisite Ding Porcelain, Cizhou Kiln ceramics, and Tangshan Bone China. A tasting area offered French cuisine expertly paired with Hebei wines, illustrating a harmonious blend of Chinese and Western cultures.
Concurrently, the “Beautiful Hebei · Shining Globally” Photo Exhibition of World Heritage Sites in Hebei Province was held, featuring Hebei’s distinguished world heritage sites, including sections of the Great Wall within Hebei and the Chengde Mountain Resort.
The event was a collaborative effort by the Publicity Department of the CPC Hebei Provincial Committee, the Xinhua News Agency News & Information Center, and the Xinhua News Agency Hebei Branch.
